Floating The comeback album. After an absence of 42 years Martin Valins released a new album with new songs plus a few from his back catalogue. Across many of his albums he occasionally has returned to some of those songs of the 1970’s and with those with his then songwriting partner Andy Staines. The last track of Floating is actually Andy singing in a live recording from 1972. Floating was the beginning of a new journey back into music. “In many ways I never left music - but I did stop playing - I studied architecture and was somewhat successful in that field but my heart was always in music. It just took a while to truly understand that.
