For the single The Perfect Prize “I have always loved the music of Squeeze and wanted to write a song in that genre. Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford had a way with combining catchy melodies with lyrics that were self contained stories that included an attention to the detail of the mundane” - From this inspiration came The Perfect Prize.
